  • Sikaran (Filipino Kickboxing): The fighter is trained in zoning and controlling distance, making it perfect for self defence.
  • Sinawali (Double Sticks): A form of weapons training often designed for beginners to develop appropriate body position and distance from an opponent. 
  • Solo Baston (Single Stick): A form of sword training performed with wooden stick aimed and familiarizing students with blade orientation. 
  • Daga (Knife Defence): A knife fighting system is known as a specialty of the Filipino Martial Arts. 
  • Espada Y Daga (Sword and Dagger): A close range form of sword fighting developed in the Philippines. 
  • Kadena De Mano (Close Quarter Fighter): By using hands, elbows, head butts, and knees in training, the flow of this technique is very important.
  • Dumog (Filipino Grappling): Includes throws, takedowns, immobilization, and submission. Learning to react in a ground situation is a very important aspect of any system of Self Defence.
  • Silat: An integrated system of fighting developed in and around Indonesia and Malaysia that includes street fighting and other overkill strategies.
